My name is Mildred Petty and I am the Principal at Martinez Elementary in Abilene, Texas. What caught my attention was the ease of the Texas Value Cards fundraiser. We did not have to have a huge assembly to explain all the different facets of the fundraiser because there isn't any.
The parents loved how easy it was to help their students to sell their booklets. They came with outstanding vendors and were selling like hotcakes.
My skepticism left as soon as I heard how easy the fundraiser was and how much money we can make from it. I will continue to do this fundraiser at the beginning of each school year. The benefit my students will see is endless.
